Arya, Full Trisomy 18, Precious Angel

Arya (Full)

In loving memory of our beautiful, strong-willed little girl, Arya. Throughout our journey, we were told Arya wouldn’t make it to birth, but from the very start, she defied every expectation. Born four weeks early via emergency c-section, Arya arrived weighing just 4lbs, yet her strength was immense.

Arya was feisty and determined, often pulling at her wires and making sure everyone knew if her feed was even slightly delayed. Her cry was powerful, matching her incredible spirit. Arya knew her mummy’s voice, always turning to find me whenever she heard it, a bond that will forever be cherished.

Despite the serious heart condition associated with her Trisomy 18, Arya fought bravely. Though her condition couldn’t be treated surgically, she demonstrated remarkable resilience until peacefully passing at 16 days old due to apnea.

We fondly called her “our mouse”—tiny yet fierce, beautifully defiant, and forever strong in spirit. Arya’s precious memory continues to guide us every day, reminding us of strength, love, and unwavering courage.
